She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Corbett and Rosa Miles Corbett; her husband Hunter Lea; her sons, William Lea and Terry Lea; and her siblings, Pearl Poteat, Ola Jeffers, Sarah Graves, Dorothy Allen, Dallas, Warner, Keely, Elbert and David Corbett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Lea Daniel (Aron) of Semora and Bonnie Lea Surgeon (Herbert) of Greensboro; her sisters, Geraldine Kimber of Reidsville and Shirley Love of Bowie; her daughter-in-law Janice Lea of Memphis; her grandchildren, Arielle Lea of Memphis, Ariana Lea of Memphis, Brandon Lea (Stephanie) of Graham, Briana Gant of Mebane, Andrea Duffy (Murray) of Georgia, Audrey Wilson of Nashville, Derek Hawkins (Nicole) of Charlotte and Nikki Foster (Jermail) of South Boston, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Braedyn Lea, Marley Lea of Kaysen Lea, M. J, Prince Duffy, Avory Gordon, Jhayden Ingram, Avianna Cunningham, Ava Lea and Justin Foster; and her caregivers, Shinnette Graves, Wanda Wilkins and Jean Stewart. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and cherished friends.
