She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Meadows and Golden Moore Walker; her husband Harry L. Grimes; and her brother Tommy Meadows. She is survived by: her daughter Judy N. Newcomb of Yanceyville, NC; her grandson Edward M. Newcomb (Dana) of Blanch, NC; her great grandchildren, Tyler and Elaina Newcomb; and her sisters, Rachel Barker (Wayne) of Rockingham, NC, Kay Gregory (Gary) of Danville, VA and Fay Cole of Danville, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
