He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cecil Patterson and Ruth Elizabeth Hearson Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Martha Patterson; and his son Jimmy Patterson. He is also survived by four step children; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Authora Care Hospice in Alamance County, Wounded Warriors, or any charitable foundation helping disabled veterans.
