With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Polly Ann Sykes of Yanceyville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James David Willis and Eva Webster Willis Richmond; her husbands, William F "Pete" Sykes and Gerald R Dickerson; her children, William J. "Jody" Sykes and Sylvia Ann Sykes; and her siblings, Sherby Mahaley, Joyce Mahaley, Jimmy Willis and Nat Willis.
She is survived by: her sisters, Jeanette Walters, Elaine Merritt (Lawrence) and Angie Oakley (Duck); her grandson Joshua D. Sykes; her great grandchild Issac J. Osgood (The); and also Sarah. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice.
