She is survived by: her daughter Rita Y. Abbott; her grandson Khama A. Abbott of Silver Spring, MD; and her siblings, Rev. Gloria A. Purcell, Nancy West of Oak Ridge, NC, Eula Martin of Washington, DC, Brenda Williams and Samuel Hairston Jr. (Dixie Rae) of High Point, NC. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and countless relatives and friends.
