She is survived by: her sons, Elbert Slade Jr. of Alexandria, VA. and Wayne Slade of Yanceyville, NC; and her sister Mary Mae Totten Long. She is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
