It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Johnson Hunley of Yanceyville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Thomas Hunley and Ida Elton Gentry Hunley; and his siblings, Lois Oliver, Wayne Hunley, Donald Hunley and Duke Hunley.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Fuqua Hunley; his pet Max; his brother Junior Fuqua (Elizabeth) of Yanceyville; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Wood (Ray) of Danville and Helen Anderson (Champe) of Ringgold. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
