She was predeceased by: her parents, Glennie Brown and Mamie Graves Brown; her husband Wilson Gwynn; her children, Mary Frances Jones, Tammy Hamlett, Wilson Gwynn and Woodrow Gwynn; and her siblings, Helen Gunn, Ethelene Gunn, Louella Cole, Glossie Henderson, Robert Brown, Huston Brown, James Brown and Eddie Joe Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary G. Slade (Darnell) of Yanceyville, NC; and her daughters-in-law, Odessa Gwynn of Yanceyville, NC and Nancy Gwynn of Yanceyville, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
