With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mattie Brown Davis (Yanceyville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 19, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Erskine Brown and Zelma Crabtree Brown; her husband Curtis Edward Davis; and her siblings, Kenneth, Ronald Brown, Judy B. Martin and Cathy B. Barefield.
She is survived by: her son James "Jimmy" Davis (Kelly); her sister Nancy B. Bryson (Lloyd); and her grandchildren, Ryland Davis and Moriah D. Shepherd (Cody).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of Yanceyville or to the Yanceyville Vol.
