Solomon (Kendall) of Charlotte and Joseph Beckwith (Debbra) of Durham; his grandchildren, Nicholas Solomon and Lillian Beckwith; and his siblings, Barb Ashofteh (Hossain) of Avon, Suzy Widdowson (Gene) of La Grange, Ohio, Michael Beckwith (Peggy) of Avon Lake, Pat Beckwith (Lori) of Avon and Tim Beckwith of Berlin Heights, Ohio..

“Matthew was the absolute love of my life, my rock here on earth, my confidant, and my best friend, ever! He was a loving dad to our son, Joey as well as my children from a previous marriage, Cissie and Kris! Matt was a loving papa to Nicholas and to Lillian, had he had the chance to meet her. Matthew worked as a brilliant civil engineer. He loved collecting stamps and coins but his absolute favorite hobby was the art of genealogy and served as president of ACGS for years. He will be missed!!”
