He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Simmons and Eliza Simmons; and his sisters, Elaine Dabbs (Joe), Audrey Hall and Patricia Rudd.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Carroll Simmons; his sons, Jeff Agnew (Heather), Jason Simmons (Lisa), Lee Simmons (Brandi) and Mark Simmons (Jessie Hill); his sister Judy Howell; his grandchildren, Courtney Agnew, Kailyn Agnew, Dustin Randleman, Lindsey Simmons, Taylor Simmons, Makenzie Simmons and Karsen Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Mariah, Rosey and Ryder.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church (9904 NC-150, Reidsville, NC 27320).
