He is survived by: his wife Hilda Moore Watlington; his children, Johnnie Kristin Watlington of Danville, Angela Jeffers (Jerome) of Charlotte and Sharon Watlington of Burlington; his grandchildren, Jeron Jeffers of Charlotte, NC and Kendall Lloyd of Burlington; his siblings, Cleo Stokes of Yanceyville, Jackie Graves of Yanceyville, Jennie Bowe and Brotha Watlington (Sandra) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; his in-laws, Clarence Lee Moore (Deloris), Willie Moore (Martha) and Charlie (Todd); and his friends, Larry and Donald Foster. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John & Juanita's. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home (219 Dillard School Dr, Yanceyville, NC 27379). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Blackwell Baptist Church Cemetery (4777 U. S. Hwy 158 W, Yanceyville, NC 27379).
