He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Stichum" Taylor and Dorothy Taylor; and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his wife Jinny Mae Taylor; his children, John Taylor and Judy Jennings of Providence, NC; his grandchildren, Kelly Griffith and Jalin Jennings; and his siblings, Patricia Wood, Darrel Denny of Yanceyville, NC, William Taylor of Greensboro, NC and Joseph "Bro" Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
