He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lindsey Lea and Verbena Estella Love Lea; and his brothers, John, Jr., Samuel and Kenneth.

He is survived by: his wife Druscilla Rone; his children, Xieminia, Jerry Levi, Jr. (Katrina), Shana and Tonia; his granddaughter Rian; his brother William Houston (Sarah); and his sister-in-law Marjorie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
