In the vast expanse of eternity, Jacqueline shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jacqueline farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernestine Garland and Joseph Garland; and her brother Edward "Al" Garland. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shemia Fontaine of Danville and LaMonte Tucker of Talladega, Alabama; her siblings, Larry Garland (Diane) of Wake Forest, Reverend Jimmie Garland (Jane) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Betty House (Calvin) of Kittrell; and her sister-in-law Reverend Gladys Garland of Milton. She is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John & Juanita's. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home (219 Dillard School Dr, Yanceyville, NC 27379). Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the MacEdonia AME Church (4164 Yarboroughs Mill Rd, Milton, NC 27305). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens (1665 South Boston Rd, Danville, VA 24540).
