She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Pete Hunt, Sr. and Matilda Clayborne Hunt; her siblings, Lorene Hodnett, Richard Hunt, Willie Haywood Hunt, Sam Pete Hunt, Jr. and Nathaniel Hunt; and her brothers-in-law, Douglas Barton and Melvin Goodie.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Campbell of East Orange and Angelo Hunt (Tia) of Bowie, Maryland; her sisters, Elizabeth Young (Earl) of Carteret, Shirley Barton of Yanceyville and Mattie Goodie of Yanceyville; and her sister-in-law Barbara Ann Hunt of Danville, Virginia. She is also survived by other relatives; and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mineral Springs Baptist Church (774 Mineral Springs Rd, Pelham, NC 27311). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (774 Mineral Springs Rd, Pelham, NC 27311).
