She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lee Thompson and Eula Sykes Thompson; and her husband James Albert Mise, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, James Albert Mise Jr. (Jay) and Robert Lee Mise of Yanceyville, NC; her grandchildren, Laurel Mise, Jaymison Mise and Brandon Mise (Renee); and her great grandchildren, Canbria Mise, Elaina Faye Mise, Corbin Mise and Susanna Mise.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church (85 Pleasant Grove Church Rd, Yanceyville, NC 27379). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery (85 Pleasant Grove Church Road, Yanceyville, VA 27379).
