He is survived by: his wife Pamela Slade Douglas; his mother-in-law Lillian Ossie Dean Cobb; his brother-in-law Dr. John R. Slade, Jr. (Pamela) of Winston-Salem, NC; his nephew Jon Christopher Slade of Winston-Salem, NC; his pet Trixie; his siblings, Ann Lawrence (Mike) of Greensboro, NC, Ralph Douglas of Greensboro, NC and Steve McKinnon (Liz) of Greensboro, NC; and also, Kaylene Linster (Thomas), Shelly Wiley of Yanceyville, NC and Waddell Graves of Pelham, NC. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2 p. m. to 7 p. m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
