It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Lipscomb of Yanceyville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis Lipscomb and Elizabeth Ann Long Lipscomb; her siblings, John Wayne Lipscomb, Frank Douglas Lipscomb, Michael Donnell Lipscomb, Hope Lipscomb, Mary Arthur Lipscomb, Katherine Jones and Jackie L. Henderson; and her grandchildren, Elijah Lipscomb and Kayla Lipscomb.
She is survived by: her children, Nikki Turner (Gerald), Gregory Lipscomb (Rolanda) of Yanceyville, NC and Kelvin Lipscomb (Christina) of Timberlake, NC; her siblings, Jerry Lipscomb (Marcie) of Blanch, NC, Elizabeth Patsy Lipscomb (Tommy), Sandra K. Poteat (Malcolm) of Blanch, NC and Nancy Williams of Burlington, NC; and her brother-in-law Larry Wayne Jones of Blanch, NC. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home, Yanceyville, NC with a limit of 10 people at a time. (Per CDC Guidelines: Facial Masks are required).
