He was predeceased by: his father Carl West Stanley. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Webster Stanley; his wife Veronica Stanley; his sons, L. T. Stanley (Kristin) of Rota, Jackson Stanley of Providence, NC and Ronald Stanley of Yanceyville, NC; his granddaughters, Emalin and Ellie Stanley of Rota, Spain; and his brothers, Dwayne Stanley of Milan, IN and David Stanley (Lynn) of Albemarle, NC..

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Community Baptist Church, 3050 Old Hwy 86 Yanceyville, NC 27379.
