With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Byron Hodges (Yanceyville, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anthony Byron Hodges to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Fielding Jones Hodges; his stepfather Hurley Rudd; and his brother Fielding Mac Hodges. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy McKinney Rudd; his wife Gloria Dean Gusler Hodges; his sons, Mark Hodges (Robin) of Appomattox, VA and Freddie Hodges of Ruffin; his grandchildren, Bryan Hodges and Taylor Hodges of Appomattox, VA; and his close friend Patches.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Home Health and Hospice of Rockingham County.
