It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ada Florence Oliver Lipscomb of Yanceyville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oliver and Ada Mangum Oliver; her husband William Morris Lipscomb; and her sister Louise Mangum Poole. She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Foster (Terry) of Yanceyville, NC, Rita Stewart (Malcolm) of Milton, NC, Shelia Breedlove (Sam) of Axton, VA., Billie Graves (Carl) of Reidsville, NC, Cynthia Brown (George) of Stoneville, NC and Erica Lipscomb (Kim) of Yanceyville, NC; her sister Janie Mae Briggs of Yanceyville, NC; her siblings-in-law, Lillian Slade of Yanceyville, NC, Ruth Lea of Yanceyville, NC and Lloyd Lipscomb (Brenda) of Pelham, NC; and her close friend Thelma Lea of Yanceyville, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 2 to 8 p. m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time. (Per CDC Guidelines: Facial Masks are required).
