He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Benjamin Harris and Harriet Hortense Mohorn Harris; and his siblings, Harriet Harris Hicks and Grover Benjamin Harris, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Miller Harris; and his sons, William Edmund Harris, Jr. of Wilmington, NC and Craig Miller Harris (Rebecca) of Yadkinville.
