He was predeceased by: his parents, William Allen Comer, Sr. and Ruby Chappell Comer; and his siblings, JoAnn Comer, Fannie Allen, Nancy Mayfield, Jerry Ray Comer and Billy Comer.
He is survived by: his wife Hattie Wilkins Comer; his children, Jerry Comer (Barbara) and Phyllis Comer; his grandchildren, Heather Wyrick (Aaron), Jonathan Comer (Kristie), Amber Foster (Terry) and William Brown; his great grandchildren, Adalyn Wyrick, Dakota Wyrick, Brayden Wyrick, Ryan Brown, Sylar Comer, Lakyn Comer, Zackary Foster and Gabriel Foster; and his sister Ollie Comer Myers.
