She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hensel Mayes and Callie Lena Felts Mayes; her husband Randall Lee King; and her siblings, Ina Shupe, Brenda Robke and Ronald Mayes.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Kirby (Dan), Billy King (Dawn) and Sheri Rucker (Allan); her grandchildren, Scott Kirby, Matt Kirby (Jordan), Brandon King, Chloe Rucker, Callie King, Erin King and Kolby Rucker; her great grandchildren, Hunter Prater and Thea Kirby; and her siblings, Dora Conley, Lula Jones, Kenneth Mayes and Buddy Mayes.
