She was predeceased by: her parents, Blume Salmons and Fannie Swaim; her husband John Thomas Arnold; and her daughter Sue Darnell. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Arnold (Etta) of Ronda, Steven Arnold (Tamara) of Wilmington, Deborah Russell (Michael) of Yadkinville, Janie Siemers (Sidney) of Elkin and Bonnie Heart of Raleigh. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren.
