He is survived by: his children, Gary Steelman (Roxanna) of Statesville, NC, Marjorie Moore (Kent) of Mocksville, NC, David Steelman (Lou Anne) of Mooresville, NC and Renee Baxter (Shannon) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Leigh Ann Moore of Harmony, NC, Taylor Steelman (Jessica) of Mooresville, NC and Candace Evans (Jonathon) of Georgia; his siblings, Charlotte S. Beler of Alberta, Canada and Eldon Steelman of Mocksville, NC; and his close friend Carolyn Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
