With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommy Baity (Yadkinville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Baity and Flora Dalton Baity; his sisters, Janet Reavis and Lillian Morris; and his grandchildren, Jake Thomas Baity I, Jake Thomas Baity II, Angel Briana Stone, Chloe Danyelle Stone, Tucker Lee Keaton and Asher Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Miller Baity; his children, Tim Baity (Julia), Ted Baity (Lorie) and Cindy Stone (Michael); his grandchildren, Hannah Keaton (Cody), Caleb Baity (Kim), Jessica Wright (Lee), Jennifer Hill (Kaleb) and Michaela Stone (Ian Hein); his great grandchildren, Abigail Keaton, Annamae Keaton, Catherine Baity, Matthew Baity, Oliver Wright, Maverick Wright and Charlotte Hill; and his brother Kenneth Baity (Linda).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Courtney Baptist Church (3341 Courtney Church Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Courtney Baptist Church Recreation Building Fund, 3341 Courtney Church Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
