He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude James Lineberry and Grace Andrews Lineberry; and his sister Edna Kay Pinnix. He is survived by: his wife Tina Cox Lineberry; his children, Lauren L. Stroud (Jason) and James Lineberry (Lacy); his grandchildren, Livia Stroud, Faith Stroud, Logan Stroud, Gwynn Stroud, Theia Stroud, Blair Stroud, Micah Lineberry and Jace Lineberry; and his siblings, Doris Ann Webster (Lonnie) and Mike Lineberry (Terina).
