It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomasena Montez Russell of Yadkinville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Jerome Russell and Elizabeth Hinson Russell. She is survived by: her daughter Erika Peeples (Gregory); her grandchildren, Gregory Peeples, Jr., Jeremiah Peeples and K'Niyah Peeples; her siblings, Lori Russell, Tommy Russell (JoAn) and Blaine Russell Sr.; her nephews, David Russell, Jr., Christopher Russell, Sr., Michael Russell Sr. and James Blaine Russell, Jr.; and her niece Bianca Mitchell (Deonte).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
