He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelton Spillman and Amelia Reynolds Spillman; his wife Betty Gough Spillman; his daughter LuAnn Spillman Hinshaw; and his brothers, Laverne Spillman and Avalon Spillman.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Leah "Nikki" Adams (Nicholas); his great grandchild Natalie Adams; and his sisters-in-law, Ferne Spillman and Linda Ashby (Larry).
