With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvania Barker Collins (Yadkinville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 25, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barker and Victoria Griffith Barker; her husband Tommy Collins; and her son-in-law Samuel Freeman. She is survived by: her children, Derentz Collins (Faye) and Dixie Collins Freeman; her grandchildren, Page Eldridge (Jenny), Bradley Collins (Jennice), Diane Campbell (Tim) and Shelby Horton (Brian); and her stepgrandson Samuel Freeman Jr.. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice in memory of Mrs. Collins.
