She was predeceased by: her significant other Preacher Bobby Lee Russell; her parents, Hayden Barney and Alice Barney; her brother John; her siblings-in-law, Martha Barney and Poindexter; and her son-in-law Walt Goss.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Goss, Kimberly Mathis (Doylan) and Bobby Russell Jr. (Susan); her grandchildren, Brad Mathis (Dena), Chris Mathis (Nicole), Keri Newsome Erin (Justin) and Laurel Watts (Jessop); her great grandchildren, Daniel Mathis, Liam Mathis, Parker Mathis, Kip Newsome and Mason Shore; and her sisters, Sylvia Poindexter and Cheryl Miller.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turners Creek Baptist Church (3216 Courtney-Huntsville Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
