It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rufus Joyce Sr. (Yadkinville, North Carolina), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Letha Love Joyce and Charles Martin Joyce; his wife Eula; and his siblings, Curtis Joyce, Phillip Joyce, Jerry Wayne Joyce and Dean Cheek.
He is survived by: his grandchild Rural Hall; his significant other Zeta Beamon; his sisters, Mary Lou Noah and Charline Blythe; his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Joyce, Bonnie Joyce and Allen Cheek; his children, Billy Joyce (Terri), Danny Joyce (Steve Joyce) and Denise Hayes (James); and his pet Dixie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
