She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gaither and Clara Shelton Slater; her husband Bobby Driver; and her brothers-in-law, Russell Driver and Leo Driver.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Driver (Cheryl) and Pam Driver Roten (Tony); her grandchildren, Paige Hobson (Jamie Gregory), Kendall Driver (Brianna Speight), Crystal Wilson (Dustin) and Bentley Roten; her great grandchildren, Kelvin, Alex Alonzo, Kinsley Gregory, Lucas and Maddox Wilson; her siblings, Peggy Willard (late Rufus) and Bill Slater (late Betty); and her close friends, Alice Pickett, Carolyn Marlow and Peggy Reece. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:15 AM and at 11:30 AM at the same location.
