She is survived by: her husband Joseph Bailey "Joe" Brandon; and her sister Martha Hoots. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Iredell, 2347 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
