He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Mary Creasy Smith; and his sister Linda Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Sue Carol Doss Smith; his daughter Pamela Bricker (David); his grandchildren, Crystal Danielle Bricker and Devin Scott Bricker; his great grandchildren, Kaiden and Braelynn Hennings; his sister Roberta Lewis (Merle); his siblings-in-law, Tommy Perkins, Joe Doss (Wanda), Gene Doss (Wanda), Kenneth Doss (Fannie) and Marie Hutchens; and his close friends, Roger Carlton, John Cirone (Linda), Don, Deb and Steve Schaper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any disabled veteran's charity.
