She was predeceased by: her mother Minnie Merline Myers Loflin; her sisters, Elizabeth Gonzalez and Peggy Somers; her uncle Blaze; and her pets, Sputnik, Dixie and Mollie.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Allen Tomlin, Sr.; her father J. H. Loflin, Jr.; her sister Betina Loflin Gonzalez (Ben); her brother-in-law Nicolas Vargas Gonzalez; her children, Samyra Ann Matthews Tripp (Roy), Heather JoLyn Tomlin and Joseph Allen Tomlin, Jr.; her stepdaughter Jennifer Bishop (Greg); her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sophia Matthews, Marcus Potts, Hugh Whitaker, Cole, Pasilee Tomlin, Zachary and Samantha Krizon (Vicky); and her close friends, Beverly Altizer, Sandy Stanley and Darlene Hutchens. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephew.
She entered intense rehab and even survived COVID.
