She was predeceased by: her husband George Locksley Steelman; her children, George Thomas Steelman and Lisa Kay Steelman Jester; her grandson Jacob "Jake" Craig Steelman; and her siblings, Poindexter, Jr. and Kathleen Poindexter.
She is survived by: her son Craig Steelman (Susie); her daughter-in-law Debra Steelman; her grandchildren, Victoria Rose Steelman, Charles Casey Hauser, Sarah Elizabeth Hauser and Steven William Hauser; and her great grandchildren, Emily Hauser, Susannah Hauser and Ariana Hauser.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huntsville Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
