She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie M. Mize and Geneva Key Mize; and her siblings, Ella Mae Wooten, Lucille Hutchens, Troy, Luther and Leroy Mize.
She is survived by: her husband J. H. Harris (Sandy); her children, Bill Harris (Lynne), David Harris and Patty Wilson (Andy); her great grandchild Mackenzie Cannon; her sisters, Linda Smith (Willis) and Nellie Hobson; and her sister-in-law Mary.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have memorials sent to Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Maintenance Fund, 2232 Brandon Hills Rd, Yadkinville NC 27055.
