He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Dobson and Irene Greene Dobson; his wife Mozella "Mo" Howell Dobson; and his siblings, Josephine Ingram, Norenda Hamilton and Charlie Dobson.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Dobson Waugh (Danny) of Evans and Kevin Dobson (Tameka) of Augusta; his grandchildren, Allison Meadows (Jameson), Angelica Dobson, Derrick Dobson, Dominique Dobson, Daniel Waugh, Ricky Blue and Jayla Waugh; his great grandchildren, Dominque Dobson, Jr., Justice Dobson, Harper Meadows, Cadence Meadows and Johnathan Parks, Jr.; his sister Elsie Smith (Johnny) of Philadelphia; and his close friend Mary Hylton. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
