She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hawks and Lilly Akers Hawks; and her siblings, Myrtle Jenkins, Marie Turner, Howard, Marvin, Melvin and Chester Hawks.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherron Phillips (Ricky); her grandchildren, Jamie Phillips (Stephanie) and Lisa Burgess (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Bryson Phillips, Makenna and Lylah Burgess.
