She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Hutchens and Julia Phillips Hutchens; and her husband Clarence Asbury "Nookie" Howell. She is survived by: her sons, Clarence "Sonny" Howell and Kenneth Lee Howell (Margie); her grandchildren, Donna Robertson, Teresa Washak (John), Jeff Howell (Rose) and Julia Howell (James); her great grandchildren, Justin Howell, Noelle Gordon, Andrew Robertson, Johnathan Washak, Joshua Washak, Katlin Howell, Shelby Howell and Sophia Lin; and her great great grandchildren, Lenah, Atalia, Skyler, Alana and Nikola.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baltimore United Methodist Church, 2419 Baltimore Road, East Bend, NC 27018.
