She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ervin and Myrtle McCollum Childress; her husband James Harold Caudle, Sr.; and her brothers, William Ray and David Childress.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Caudle Chappell and James Harold Caudle, Jr. (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Larry Dean Chappell (Tonya), Jessica Collins (Cody) and Emily Hatfield (Jared); her great grandchildren, Rachel and Emma Collins; and her siblings, Roxie Allgood, Ruth Carrigan, Betty Bell, Pearl Hicks (Jimmy), Wilma Finney (Marty), Allen Childress and Bobby Childress (Sharon).
