With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Goodin Cook of Yadkinville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Goodin and Viola Creason Goodin; her husband William Frank Cook; and her siblings, Nonnie Heffner, Sadie Speaks, Gilmer and Lawrence Goodin.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda Fortune and Dale Cook (Ruth); her grandchildren, Shannon Gavin (Lee), Sherri Parker and Michael Cook; her great grandchildren, Dyson, Shalyn Bell, Xander Parker, Kaylee, Caden and Mattie Gavin; and her siblings, Carolyn Prevette and Gary Goodin (Sandra).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northwood Baptist Church, 1309 Northwood Church Road Yadkinville, NC 27055.
