As we bid Kay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Pendry and Doris Pendry Fields; and her husband Dewey Wayne Todd. She is survived by: her son Jeffery Todd (Stacey); her grandson Steven Todd (Maryann); her sisters, Barbara Felts (Charles), Glenda Fitzgerald and Wanda Rogers (Bill); and her friend George Acosta.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Deep Creek Baptist Church (2401 Old Stage Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055).
