She was predeceased by: her father Jennings Bryon Davis; her sister Pamela Davis Blalock; and her son Jonathan Scott Carter. She is survived by: her mother Frances Coley Davis of Albemarle; her children, Christopher Bryon Carter of New London, Jeremy Chad Lemly of Salisbury, Daniel Patrick Lemly of Salisbury, Laura Elizabeth Lloyd of Yadkinville and Timothy Michael Lloyd of East Bend, NC; her sister Elizabeth Lynn McCormack of New London; and her grandchildren, Cleo Jane Carter, Payton Lemly, Lexie Lemly, Ethan Hodgson, Brandon Lloyd, Justin Hodgson, Evan Minor and EmmaLee Minor.
