She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil Lorenzo Brown and Helen Hutchens Brown; her husband George Walter Gentle; and her siblings, Carolyn Goss, Norma Jean Childress, Dorothy Mae Brown, Clyde "Buddy" Brown and Charles Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gay Reavis and Shelia McMillan (David); her grandchildren, Tammy Reavis, Jason Reavis (Jennifer), Wesley McMillan and Laura; her great grandchildren, McKinley Reavis, Kylie Reavis, Jenda Crouse and Jared Crouse; and her sister Jane Johnson (Avery). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
