It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jennings (Yadkinville, North Carolina), born in Matoaca, Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Jennings and Violet Jennings; and his siblings, Roger Jennings, Buddy Jennings, Ronnie Jennings and Joyce Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Poindexter Jennings; his children, Lisa Johnson (Doug) and John Russell Jennings; his grandsons, Brandon Johnson and Collin Johnson; his sisters, Juanita Pendergrass, Kathy Harless and Connie Jennings; his granddaughter Miranda Williams (Kevin); his sisters, Betty Wyatt and Debbie Utt; and also, Rev. Eddie Driver and Rev. Marty Nixon.
