He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Taft Hutchens and Edna Blanche Brown Hutchens; his sister Ruby Hutchens; and his brother-in-law Bill Sizemore. He is survived by: his wife Jane Hall Hutchens; his children, Sandra Hutchens (Damon O'Connor), Jenae Deel (Stacey) and Jonathan Steelman; his grandchildren, Autumn Ingool, Hayden Steelman and Jacob Deel; his sister Betty Sizemore; and his niece Donna Chamberlain (Darren).
